Going live in orbit to take seagrass into the (home) classroom

As the classroom has temporarily moved into the home and teaching becomes virtual, the team over at She Maps have been lining up scientists to teach short lessons about their research, called Live in Orbit. I was thrilled to be a part of the week two line up of scientists and talk about why seagrass meadows are superheroes!

These lessons are free and streamed live on Facebook and zoom, to get involved just register on the website here: https://education.shemaps.com/liveinorbit.

You can also view all of the lessons so far once you sign up, and you can watch my lesson below. Make sure you register and catch up on all of the other lessons!

There was some amazing homework submitted after my lesson, check out these fantastic seagrass poems that some of the students wrote!
